Recommended Schedule For Using Pivot

Welcome to the Pivot Training Program: Unlocking Your Path to Soccer Excellence

The Pivot Training Program is your roadmap to player development—designed to turn knowledge into instinct. This program provides parents and players with a clear, structured pathway to master the essential skills needed to excel in soccer: Speed of Play Habits, Technical Abilities, Positional-Specific Tactical Understanding, and Mental Mastery.

The goal is not just to know these concepts but to internalize them so deeply that they become second nature. On the field, players should be able to think and act instinctively, switching their mindset, solving problems, and performing at their peak without hesitation.

How It Works

  • Daily and Weekly Schedules:
We’ve outlined specific daily and weekly training schedules that balance skill development and mental mastery.

    • For Parents: These schedules provide structure for your child’s development, guiding them to success while leaving room for customization based on your family’s needs.
    • For Players: The schedule serves as a roadmap to becoming a better player. Following it diligently will accelerate your progress, while reducing session time may delay your results.
  • Customizable Commitment:
Players and parents can increase or decrease the frequency of sessions.

    • Increase sessions for faster results and higher levels of play.
    • Decrease sessions understanding that improvement will take more time.

The Difference Between Interested and Committed Players

Success depends on your level of desire and commitment:

  • Committed Players make no excuses—they get things done regardless of challenges. They rearrange schedules, sacrifice distractions like TV or video games, and prioritize their training, studies, and family time.
  • Interested Players often make excuses: “I had a test,” “It’s my aunt’s birthday,” or “I had a dentist appointment.” These players may struggle to achieve their goals because they lack the consistency and dedication required for greatness.

COMMITTED players will find a way to get straight A’s in school, train, complete their Pivot courses daily, and spend time with their family. The INTERESTED players, on the other hand, will find excuses to avoid doing what needs to be done. Their excuses might include, “I have a test today,” “It’s my aunt’s birthday,” “We’re going to dinner with family for my parent’s anniversary,” or “I have a dentist appointment.”

The COMMITTED players will adjust their schedules, sacrificing time spent on TV, phones, video games, or hanging out with friends who add no value to their lives, to ensure they get the necessary tasks done.

If you’re committed to becoming the best version of yourself, this program will guide you.

Beyond the Knowledge State

The Pivot Training Program is about more than practice; it’s about mastery. By following this program, players will develop instincts, enabling them to:

  • Act without hesitation on the field.
  • Control their mindset and switch into “game mode” in an instant.
  • Find solutions under pressure effortlessly.

Final Thoughts

The results you achieve depend entirely on your desire and dedication. The more you commit, the faster you’ll see progress. Pivot is here to provide you with the tools and guidance, but your success depends on the choices you make every day.

Will you be Committed or Interested? The choice is yours.

Why 3-6 Week Sprints Are Recommended

We suggest 3-6 week sprints for certain habits and drills due to their complexity and the time required to transform knowledge into instinct. Research shows that it typically takes 20-21 days of consistent, deliberate practice to turn a concept into a habit or instinct. However, some habits may require more time to fully develop.

If you train less frequently than the recommended schedule, it will take longer to solidify these habits, requiring you to extend your training period. Sticking to the suggested frequency helps ensure that you build instincts effectively and stay on track with your development goals.
